E l Arte debe ser como un espejo, que nos revela nuestra cara

Jorge Luis
Borges

Art must be a mirror that reveals our face, that shows us who we are.

Solamente cuando ya no se sabe lo que está haciendo, un pintor hace las obras buenas

Edgar Degas

Only when a painter doesn't know what they are doing, do they create good paintings.

"The little red people” are images of myself - from my imagination, dreams or unconscious - however you want to think of it.

I was living in China, and red is the color of life, good fortune, and happiness.

The Red People came to life when I made the leap away from representational realistic art --drawing and painting things that are easily recognizable."

"To my surprise the "red people" kept coming out in different situations and with different companions... They had stories to tell."

Color differences are due to the photos. The blues and reds are the same in all the paintings. No's 1 and 5 should be the most true to color.
